An LED Driver, is used to convert 240v AC/DC power, into a variety of outputs. Some of these outputs are 12v constant voltage, 24v constant voltage, 36v constant voltage, 350mA constant current, 500mA constant current, 700mA constant current, 1050mA constant current, just to name a few.nbsp; In order to select the correct LED Driver to suit your application, the type of LED light must be understood. For instance, when using a 24v high output LED strip, then a 24v DC LED driver with constant voltage is required. The output of almost all LED power supplies drops off quickly at temperatures above 50°C, therefore in these applications where the ambient temperature will exceed 50°C, the installation of extra power supplies will be required to compensate for this. In addition, there are LED drivers for internal and external use.
At MICA Lighting, we have an extensive range of transformers: Halogen Electronic, LED Drivers, Metal Halide Transformers, and Weatherproof Transformers.
