T5 Fluorescent Tubes: This type of globe is a very energy efficient fluorescent tube. The T5 technology, has "instant start" which eliminates the use of starters, and only the electronic ballast is required to start the tube. The electronic components of the T5 fluorescent lights allow it to have two very important features, the first is that it sheds constant colour, and the second is that it has flicker free start. T5 fluorescent tubes are available in many wattages, a straight tube or circular tube and various colour outputs such as warm white, cool white and daylight white.
