Sensors are a very convenient mechanism, that aids in the automation of turning a light on and off. At MICA Lighting, we have a range of "stand alone" sensors which are available in various colours, options, and installation types. In addition, many sensors are available with adjustable levels of timing, lux, and sensitivity. We also have a range of lighting, which have sensors integrated into the body of the light fitting. The PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensing device, continuously scans a prest operating zone and immediately switches the load-light on, when it detects movement in that area. This means, that whenever movement is detected within the range of the sensor, the load-light will switch on automatically to illuminate pathways, steps, patios, storerooms, pantrys, or whichever area you have selected to light. The most common reasons for installing a sensor, are for safety, convenience and security.
